Window to the Horse (watercolor 19″ x 27″) is finally finished and it’s been sent as an entry to an upcoming show. Second-Saturday meets this coming Saturday, June 8th.
Blend of the Bayou sales
Linda’s Greener Grass, 11″ x 14″ acrylic painting, sold at Northeast Louisiana Arts Council’s fundraiser Blend of the Bayou. The weather was great, the crowd was great, and of course, the food & drinks were Louisiana style great! Also, got to meet up with several artist friends, including Melanie Douthit, Don Hudnall, Emily Brodnax, Stacy Medaris, Donna McGee, and Julie Pearson.
Blend of the Bayou today!
North Louisiana Arts Council’s annual fundraiser Blend of the Bayou is today, Sunday, May 5, 2013. Donna McGee and I will be there with lots of wonderful area artists, including Melanie Douthit and Don Hudnall. “Solitary Journey” (8″ x10″ acrylic on gallery-wrapped canvas) will be part of the works I’m bringing. The Blend on the Bayou always has amazing food, music, and lots of great art.
